Recently, a photograph of an allowance certificate caused a stir on the networks. The reason ? A family of 10 children from Bas-Rhin received 5789.53 euros in social assistance for the month of August 2022.

A genuine certificate

According to the details presented in the document, the XXL family received personalized housing assistance (APL), the basic allowance for the reception of young children (Paje), the back-to-school allowance and family allowances with conditions of resources and active solidarity income (RSA).

While the sheet is singled out for its high amount, the CNAF (National Family Allowance Fund) revealed to the Checknews de Liberation team that the certificate was authentic.

The public establishment specified that the parents of the 10 children, aged 0 to 19 and all dependent, were beneficiaries of the RSA. In addition to the back-to-school allowance, the couple receives on average “between 3600 and 3700 euros in monthly allowances”, indicated the CNAF. It should be noted that the APL is paid directly to the Public Housing Office of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg.

On Twitter, several Internet users expressed their indignation.
