Video: she bursts into tears when she discovers the number of people who came to attend the opening of her pastry shop

For a chef, opening a new restaurant is always a stressful time. Will customers respond? Will the cuisine on offer please? Fortunately, there are very positive surprises from time to time!

And that's exactly what Slovak chef Lucia Kuráková experienced when she opened her new address in Barcelona. The chef had already had success with several of her restaurants in the past ('El Desván', a burger-themed restaurant and 'El Desván Vermutéria' where she serves tapas), but the support she received for her last project baptized “El Desván Bakery” made him burst into tears.

This last address was created to satisfy those who loved the cakes and biscuits that she already put on the dessert menu in her tapas restaurant. Thanks to particularly loyal customers, her notoriety on Instagram and the fact that she offered everything for 1€ especially for the first day of the store, Lucia Kuráková found herself faced with an endless line in front of her establishment El Desván Bakery.

The video shared by the team of the pastry shop went viral on social media. We see the young chef open the doors of her new business and be surprised by the impressive queue. As she walks down the street, she kisses and shakes hands with several customers. Eventually, faced with so much support, she starts crying and clutching her face as many customers applaud and wave at her.

An opening rich in emotions

After this very emotional moment, the chef wanted to thank everyone on social networks for having made this opening a great success. On her Instagram account, she said: ' family ! I am speechless ! It's a dream come true thanks to you! » On her TikTok profile, Lucia Kuráková chose to highlight her long journey to success through her various culinary projects: “It’s five years of hard work but with an inestimable reward! You are amazing! »
