The Witcher: a star actor in the Netflix series bids farewell to his character

Notice to fans of “The Witcher”: British actor Henry Cavill will leave the Netflix series after the end of season 3. One thing is certain: the choice of the new Witcher may surprise you.

The news had the effect of the bomb this weekend: the actor Henry Cavill announced on social media that he will no longer play the character of Geralt de Riv in the Netflix series “The Witcher”.

« My adventure as Geralt of Rivia has been full of monsters and adventures, but alas, I will return my medallion and my swords for the season. 4”, said the actor on his Instagram account.

You will have understood it, the interpreter of the famous Witcher will make his last appearance in the season 3 , whose broadcast date is scheduled for sometime in 2023. This message comes a few days after the announcement of his return to the role of Superman.

An actor from the Hunger Games saga will take up the torch

As Henry Cavill specifies, it is the Australian actor Liam Hemsworth (“Hunger Games”) who will have the difficult task of playing the monster killer so appreciated by fans in season 4:
