Taga, adorable little cat, has become the mascot of the Saint-Maur RER station

A train station in the Parisian suburbs has a cat as its mascot and it's way too cute.

If some still doubted the ability of animals to beautify our days, this should definitely convince them.

A pussy has become the mascot from Saint-Maur-des-Fossés station (Val-de-Marne) to the delight of passers-by.

Faithful to the post, Taga has indeed taken up residence in this station in RER A and its mere presence has the gift of soothing travelers, yet subjected to the daily stress of public transport.

A cat becomes the mascot of a train station

The adorable ball of fur is now a real star in the city. A budding celebrity that she owes to social networks, since the official RER A twitter account paid tribute to her through two viral tweets, posted on February 23.

Despite appearances, this cat tabby is not a stray animal. She would belong to a family who lives near the station according to the SNCF and our colleagues from Parisian .

For station regulars, his presence has become normal, so much so that Taga is almost part of the furniture today.

Thus, it is not uncommon to see her being petted by travelers or staff when she is lounging warm on counters or turnstiles.

Over time, she has become the little ray of sunshine for users and meeting her gaze on a daily basis illuminates even the most gloomy days.
