A woman recently explained that she regrets her choice of first names for her two children and the reason is surprising.

We can never repeat it enough but choosing a first name for your child is not an easy task and it should not be taken lightly.

Alas, some parents, who surely thought they were original birth of their offspring, sometimes come to regret their choice.

This is particularly the case of an anonymous mother who felt the regret of having given to her twins two first names, certainly atypical, but somewhat connoted. A choice all the more regrettable that it was dictated by an excess of spontaneity, under the effect of a powerful drug.

Today, the young woman fears the reaction of people and those around her!

She regrets having given these two first names to her children

In his testimony published on the site NetMums , this mother explains that she now feels uncomfortable when she calls her children by their first names, because they are reminiscent of those of… cartoon characters.

« I need advice (…) I have twins (a boy and a girl) whom I named Charlie and Lola (these two first names being the title of a famous animated series but also of a children's book editor's note). Don't get me wrong, I like both names but I feel like I made the wrong decision and I always get awkward reactions when people ask me » she thus indicates in remarks relayed by the site entrenous.fr .

« I had my doubts originally when I had them because I had been on Tramadol (an opioid painkiller editor's note) for days and I feel like I rushed my decision a bit 'she continues, confident that she is now' under pressure “, 6 months after the birth of the twins, because she must legally declare the first names.

« My partner thinks I'm ridiculous but I'm the one who spends the most time with other parents and children and I always dread people's reaction “, she adds as well, while wondering about a possible change of name of her daughter.

« It will be from Lola to Lila so only one letter difference and not too confusing for anyone including the baby “, she concludes.

A difficult choice for this mother who can, however, count on the support of Internet users, who generally advise her not to change the first names.
