As the Voix du Nord media points out, the two children born in the 2000s were placed separately in foster care because their mother could not care for them. Despite this separation, they were able to stay in touch for several years.

But their daily life changed when young Mathéo was adopted. From then on, his big sister did not hear from him for 10 years, despite his attempts to find him.

She uses Twitter to find her brother and it works

At the end of September, the 22-year-old young woman decided to launch an appeal on social networks in the hope of seeing Mathéo again: “ Alright, I hope Twitter can help me. I've been thinking about it for a long time, but I never got started. I am looking for my little brother Mathéo (Delaforge). We were placed in foster families (me at the age of 3). And he had a chance of adoption “, she wrote in a tweet.

And the least we can say is that his publication quickly went viral since it was shared more than 16,000 times. The next day, while she was in class, Nadia received the long-awaited message: that of her little brother: “ It's me, I'm there before your eyes ».

Since then, they get to know each other again: We didn't grow up together but I would like him to be able to count on me like you can count on a big sister “, confided the young woman to the regional daily.

Nadia and Mathéo decided to meet during the school holidays of All Saints.
