The rest of the year, Alisson is an agricultural worker on a farm. Graduated with a BTS in animal production, her taste for breeding came to her from her parents.
“My mother put me in the baby carrier to go see the sheep. I've always followed her.' , explained Alisson.

To take care of his sheep and sheep, Alisson is accompanied by her dogs and equipped with a “caï”, as it is called in the Hautes-Pyrénées. It is a long rod with a hook which is useful for climbing in altitude, slowing down on descents and catching sheep.

At only 23 years old, the shepherdess lives without electricity or network. In August, she doesn't even have access to running water, since she has to follow the sheep climbing up to the Aygues Tortes valley, 2,100 meters above sea level.
“I miss the shower the most” , said the young woman.
In addition to being a shepherdess, Alisson fulfills many functions since she is both a canine trainer when she takes care of her dogs, a geographer when she is looking for new pastures for her flock and also a healer when the sheep are injured.
