India: this man has not lowered his arm for 10 years (and it's not even the world record)

In India, a man claims not to have lowered his arm for 10 years as a sign of respect for his God.

In an attention-grabbing video on Reddit, the man is interviewed with the help of a translator, keeping his arm raised the whole time, of course. During the conversation, he explains in particular that he keeps his arm raised so that God notices him. The caller is, unsurprisingly, intrigued by the practicalities of keeping your arm aloft for ten years. But the man actually seems very relaxed, stating that “sleeping is not a problem” and that he 'don't even notice it anymore' because his bras is now « insensitive ».

When asked how long he will continue, the translator replies: “He hasn't decided anything yet, but he could keep it like this all his life. He hasn't decided yet, he doesn't think about the future, he just lives in the present”. The man uses his other arm to perform his daily tasks and still admits to having no strength in the arm which remains vertical. Inevitably, this particularly impressive endurance is surprising and Internet users from all over the world remain speechless.
