The hunter who accidentally injured three people says he did not make a mistake.
A new accident hunt took place this Sunday, October 9 in Pommiers in the Rhône.
An octogenarian thus injured a woman and her two children, aged 7 and 10 respectively, by accidentally shooting them while they were taking a walk in the Beaujolais vineyards.
Still hospitalized, the mother and her two toddlers suffered from leg injuries caused by pellets but, fortunately, their vital prognosis is not engaged.

Questioned by our colleagues from BFM TV , the hunter 81, who spent a few hours in police custody, gave an astonishing explanation, ensuring that he was not mistaken.
« I did not make a mistake no (…) I was dazzled by the sun. Otherwise, if there had been no sun, it was not a problem “said the one who calls himself Jeannot.
« It's not funny, because I know them well “, he continued.
« I was on the road then I was in the vineyard, since I could not stay on the road. I was waiting for a hare to arrive (…) I fired. I did not shoot on the road, there is no problem. But I shot and it ricocheted “, has also entrusted the person concerned at the microphone of France 3 .

A witness to the scene says the hunter was very shocked by the accident, adding that he ' I was afraid that he would commit suicide ».
According to the mayor of Pommiers, this accident is mainly the result of a lack of communication when this day of October 10 marked the opening day of the hunting season.
Note that another accident occurred at the same time in Vinsobres (Drôme), where a 62-year-old man was seriously injured in the abdomen by a hunter while he was picking mushrooms.
