It is a spectacular and extremely rare incident whose outcome could have been much more dramatic.

A group of five lions have escaped from an enclosure at Sydney's Taronga Zoo ( Australia ), raising fears of the worst while families were staying on site.

This theme park being a place dedicated to communion with nature, offering visitors the possibility of sleeping, not far from the animals, in tents provided for this purpose.

Several people were therefore in the zoo when the big cats (four lion cubs and an adult) fled and the latter had very little time to get out and take shelter.
