A young mom collapsed before dying near a school, despite the efforts of the emergency services who tried everything to revive her.

In the afternoon of Monday September 26, a 35-year-old woman collapsed before dying in front of her children when she had just picked them up from the school .

According to information from our colleagues from Nice Matin, the mother of the family died in front of the Ray-Gorbella school, located in one of the northern districts of the city.

No sooner had she collapsed than the deceased was taken care of by the people present on the spot.

Parents, teachers and municipal officials first tried to provide him with first aid, without success.

Arrived on the scene, the firefighters and the Samu then took over and tried in turn to revive the mother of the family for an hour, in vain. The latter did not ultimately survive, succumbing to her children the youngest of which would be 4 years old.

Contacted by Nice Matin, the National Education Inspector, Karine Beauvais, indicated that a “ psychological counseling unit (had) been set up immediately for the children, the staff of the National Education and the town hall and, on a case-by-case basis, for the parents ».
