According to information from the Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex (his official title) - who now lives in retirement from the monarchy in the United States with a wife and children - landed on a jet at Aberdeen airport well after the official announcement of the death of his grandmother, pronounced at 6:30 p.m.
He was therefore unable to say goodbye to him, unlike his brother William and his father, who also succeeded de facto to his mother by becoming the new king of England under the name of Charles III.
This delay is likely to haunt Harry for a long time, especially since he had not seen the Queen since the latter's platinum jubilee last June, more than three months ago.
Note that his wife Meghan Markle, whose relationship has always been complicated with the royal family, was not present at Balmoral just like Kate Middleton, wife of William, both remained in London.
