The day after the death of Queen Elizabeth II of England, we learn that her grandson Harry was unable to say goodbye to her.

the queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday, September 8 at the age of 96 at her summer home in Balmoral, Scotland, ending her incredible 70-year reign.

The sovereign passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, with the exception of her grandson Harry, who was unable to arrive in time.

Arrived too late at Balmoral, Harry could not say goodbye to his grandmother Elizabeth II

As soon as the Queen's sudden deterioration in health was officially announced, her relatives immediately went to her bedside at Balmoral Castle, but the prince Harry , who was in London where he was due to give a speech, arrived in Scotland too late and was unable to say goodbye to his beloved grandmother.

Photographed shortly after his arrival, Harry, whose relations with the royal family had considerably refreshed since his marriage to Meghan Markle, appeared very marked by this ordeal.

According to information from the Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex (his official title) - who now lives in retirement from the monarchy in the United States with a wife and children - landed on a jet at Aberdeen airport well after the official announcement of the death of his grandmother, pronounced at 6:30 p.m.

He was therefore unable to say goodbye to him, unlike his brother William and his father, who also succeeded de facto to his mother by becoming the new king of England under the name of Charles III.

This delay is likely to haunt Harry for a long time, especially since he had not seen the Queen since the latter's platinum jubilee last June, more than three months ago.

Note that his wife Meghan Markle, whose relationship has always been complicated with the royal family, was not present at Balmoral just like Kate Middleton, wife of William, both remained in London.
