An architect had the crazy idea of building a spaceship-shaped house on a private island. Here is what it gives.
Some architects are truly inspired. The proof, with the unusual construction of this circular house built on a desert island in Ontario, in Georgian Bay of Lake Huron. As the media says Insider , Canadian architect William Grierson built Table Rock Cottage in 1971.
An unusual and family property
This circular property, like a spaceship from another galaxy, was built as second home to bring the architect's family together in the summer. Accessible only by boat, the property is 260 square meters and has eight bedrooms. The house is powered by solar panels. Floating docks were also added to create a harbor for private boats to dock.
The unusual property is now on sale for $1.9 million, or around €1.9 million. And we must admit that it makes you want to be tempted.
