What if you had a little treasure in your wallet ? You may not know it but if it is, it is. We are not talking about a scratch game forgotten in your wallet but rather of your pennies and euro coins . If they tend to clutter us, especially pennies, they are actually very useful during our daily expenses such as the bakery, the newspaper or the parking meter. But did you know that some of them are real collector's items highly sought after by keen collectors.
This is particularly the case of pieces of 1 euro some of which have a purchase value greater than their face value . The reason ? Their year of circulation, their place of circulation or their rarity. We are talking about rooms who can be worth several tens or hundreds of euros resale or auction. Of course, it all depends on their condition, whether they are new or used.

You should also know that the 1 euro coin from 2001 can be resold for up to 8 euros. Ditto for the 1 euro coin of 2014 which can be resold for 2 euros. You should know that when Prince Rainier III passed away in 2007, new 1 euro coins were remanufactured. Since 2007, the 1 euro coin represents the reigning sovereign of Monaco, Prince Albert II, on the throne since 2005.
